Introducing Reliability Score
Reliability Score is now available! We're continuing to fine-tune the system, monitor it for bugs, and gather community feedback to make it as fair and accurate as possible.
One of the biggest goals for Colla has always been helping creators build meaningful, successful collaborations—not just make connections. To support that vision, we're excited to introduce our Reliability Score.
This feature is designed to provide greater transparency, reward creators who consistently follow through on collaborations, and help build a trustworthy community.
How Reliability Score Works
Simply matching with another creator doesn't necessarily mean a collaboration happened. Instead, we've built a system that tracks completed collaborations through a structured confirmation process.
After two creators match, there will be a short waiting period before either creator can mark the collaboration as complete. When doing so, they'll submit a link to the published content, helping ensure that the collaboration actually took place.
The confirmation system is designed to be fair to both creators. If both users confirm the collaboration, both receive credit for the completed collab and receive a boost to their Reliability Score. If one creator consistently follows through while the other doesn't respond, the system will recognize that as well.
Our goal isn't simply to count collaborations—it's to encourage creators to keep their commitments while remaining fair to everyone involved.
Reliability Score also considers what happens beyond the confirmation process. One important behavior we're accounting for is ghosting. If a matched creator becomes completely inactive on the platform for an extended period of time, the system can recognize that pattern and adjust their Reliability Score accordingly, while helping the other creator move on and find new opportunities.
We believe this creates a healthier environment where creators can collaborate with greater confidence.
Help Us Improve
Reliability Score is now available, but we're continuing to fine-tune how it works.
Because this feature directly affects trust between creators, we're carefully monitoring it for bugs, unintended behavior, and situations where the scoring may not feel completely fair. While we've put considerable thought into the system, real-world usage often reveals scenarios that are difficult to anticipate during development.
If you notice anything that doesn't seem quite right, or have suggestions for improving the scoring system, we'd greatly appreciate your feedback. (You can send your feedback here) Your reports will help us continue refining Reliability Score and ensure it's as fair and accurate as possible for everyone.
This is only the first iteration of the system. As Colla grows and we gather more feedback from the community, we'll continue refining Reliability Score to make it even more effective.
